Last week WW helped us get set up for some success! My Top 3 Success Set Ups:

  1. Now You See It, Now You Don’t
  2. #pursecheck
  3. Pencil to Paper (using our fabulous digital downloads)

Your homework for the week was to #pursecheck and snap a pic of what’s in your purse, bag, or backpack and tag me… Let’s see how you did with your homework!

  • My Christy restocked her purse after our chat!
  • Kathy had an assortment of WW brand snacks handy and ready to go in her purse
  • Susan says her adult children still ask what she has in her purse to eat. She has quite the assortment and is happy to share!

Bravo ladies, you nailed it!

This Week’s Topic: Tracking Tips & Tricks

Sometimes tracking is hard, but let’s face it – if you do it this plan works! So why don’t we track?

My Top 3 Reasons People Don’t Track

  1. Time. We are all busy. Kids to soccer, work, finding time to make time… So what can you do? 1) Track ahead, 2) Save favorite meals or recipes on paper or your WW app. 3) Take a picture so you know what to track later
  2. Don’t Know How to Count Something – Now What?. 1) Choose the most similar item from your WW app and use that, 2) Ask someone for help like a friend, your WW coach, or your Eglette community, 3) Track a point per small bite. Tracking something is better than not tracking anything!
  3. Don’t Want to Know (Uh oh, I’m guilty!) 1) It still counts whether you record it or not, 2) the points may not be as bad as you think – tracking it keeps you from throwing caution to the wind and riding that guilt trip wagon all the way down, 3) if you find out BEFORE it goes in your mouth you may not put it IN your mouth!

Extra Credit

Super Bowl Sunday is only a week away and guess what? It’s the second highest food consumption day in the United States (only beat out by Christmas Day!)

We made some super snacks for this super event and the points are (you guessed it) super low!

Honey Mustard Meatballs – use either Turkey Meatballs or Veggies Meatballs. Cook according to package instructions or in the Simple Living Air Fryer and add your favorite sauce (like my fave G Hughes Sugar Free Honey Mustard)

Windstar Karen’s Buffalo Chicken Dip

Windstar Karen’s Buffalo Chicken Dip is a favorite at our house. Great as a dip with celery, carrots, pita chips, and more! The points are low so you can even afford a few tortilla chips on your WW budget. And rolled up in some low fat crescents and baked? Even better!

Bacon-Wrapped Pickle Spears

Bacon. Wrapped. Pickles. Oh. My. Gosh.

Twice Baked Potato Skins are yummy and delicious in the air fryer and you can save some big time points by using Velveeta Shredded Cheese and subbing plain nonfat Greek yogurt for sour cream!

Which recipes was a hit at your Super Bowl party? Let us know in the comments below!

Interested in learning more about meal prep? Here is Chat #150 where it was mentioned with a review of the Meal Prep Haven containers. We’ve been putting them to the test and so far all passing grades: easy to wash, stack for small storage space (including the lids!), 2 month freezer test was a success, microwavable, fairly watertight (I wouldn’t pack soup in it, but still), and held up well in my lunch bag!
