Hubby is on a work trip, daughter worked two jobs today….so mom was on her own and unattended after the showroom closed this afternoon.  You know what that means, road trip to Trader Joe’s!

While I was aimlessly wandering around scanning random things my sweet tooth kept whispering “cookie butter”.   No cookie butter, shoosh.  “Brownie bites….they are only 1 point each”.  But who’s going to take away the rest of that tub so I only eat a couple?  “Ok how about the chocolate chip scone?”  Get behind me devil!

So I made my final rounds and looped back thru the fruit one more time just to make sure.  That’s when I spotted it…Trader Joe’s Angel Food Cake.  It’s mostly air right?  And angels made it, so I’m sure it’s nearly good for you.  A scan later Babam!  Only 3 points per 1/4 of a cake.  I eat with my eyes ladies (and any gents!) so telling me I can have one fourth of a cake got me excited already!  In the buggy it went, and my brain went to work on what it would be when I got done with it.
