☕️ + planks= 💪🏼

I had gotten up to 3 minutes on planks before I hurt my wrist. Rather than give up I’ve been looking for a reasonable alternative. Planks do really work hard on your core! And as a lackluster core builder I hated that I had lost that easy fast little ab workout.

So I discovered one day if I put my elbows and forearms on one of the barstools at our island and put my feet out as safely as I can behind me it’s a modified plank that doesn’t hurt my wrist!

So this week I started doing what I have dubbed Bar Stool Planks while my coffee brews. Hitting the button on my Keurig is my reminder to plank and 🤞🏼 I’ll have a new good habit soon!

What creative ways have you come up with to create a new good habit?

  1. I do planks on my forearms because of arthritis in my wrists. It works! Tho my shoulders told the chiro I’d done something different
