Last week in Chat #188 we talked all about breakfast and found out that it doesn’t have to be the traditional breakfast we all imagine. As long as you’re starting your day off with a healthy choice you’re good to go!

Your homework this week was #breakfastisserved- let’s see how you did!

  • Trish used silicone baking cups to make Egg Muffins (Greek yogurt, bacon, avocado, salsa, tomatoes and strawberries on the side)
  • Mindy is a WW leader and often starts her workshop with a protein shake with WW Vanilla Protein Booster (2 SP) mixed with a little over a cup of cashew milk (1 SP), Folgers instant coffee, and cinnamon vanilla Skinny Syrup. After her  workshop she made an egg wrap with an Ole Extreme Wellness tomato basil wrap (1 SP) , 2 eggs (0 SP), ¼ cup Jimmy Deans turkey sausage (1 SP) and Kraft FF mozzarella cheese (0 SP) and seasoned with S&P, TJ onion salt, and garlic powder.
  • Carla’s breakfast presentation was absolutely adorable! She had an early breakfast of boiled eggs, cut green peppers, banana pepper, cucumbers from the fridge, and of course, a peeled “smiley” banana. Even better? Since she’s on Blue this was a 0 SP breakfast!

This Week’s Topic: Take Back Your Time

In this week’s Weekly we’re breaking down our time into three categories: things you have to do, things you want to do, and things you do for no reason.

Examples might be:

  • Have to: Feed your children
  • Want to: Teach Alyssa to ride a bike
  • Just because: Spending (too much) time on social media

 

Breaking down your activities in these categories can help you identify where your priorities are and ways that you may be wasting time that could be better spent on those priorities.

 

This Week’s Homework: #mytime

Pick 3 things that you’ve done during the week and decide whether you have to do them, wanted to do them, or just did it out of habit.

Extra Credit: Egg Lady Labs – 2 New Salt Free Spices!

In today’s extra credit we’re trying out two brand new flavors from our friends over at DAK’s Spices!

  • Nothin But Ranch – If you love ranch flavor but don’t love all the sodium and additives in grocery store brands, this is for you! This blend has all the flavor without the salt, msg, and fillers that traditional ranch has. As a bonus, it’s dairy-free and vegan!
  • Pepper Pizzazz – Delicious, fresh pepper is here! This grinder is packed with a blend of black, white, green, and pink peppercorns that’s perfect for any dish.

 

Serving Suggestions:

Hard boiled eggs: Cut your boiled egg in half and sprinkle with your favorite DAK’s seasoning

Popcorn:

French Fries: Prepare fries in your Simple Living Products air fryer. Add ½ tbsp Bragg nutritional yeast, ½ tbsp DAK’s Nothin but Ranch, and 1 tsp of powdered buttermilk. Lightly spritz with oil from your Evo Sprayer and toss.

Ranch Dressing: Mix ½ cup mayo, ½ cup sour cream (or plain greek yogurt), 1 ½ tbsp of buttermilk, 1 tbsp of white vinegar, and 1 tbsp of DAK’s Nothin but Ranch.
